Weekend Fun

Hooray for some family fun...the past few weekends we have managed to pack in some adventures as a family...

Saturday 2/7 - A trip to check out the tide pools at Taramar. It was very beautiful out and Lillian learned how to make a sea anemone squirt. It was her favorite thing to do. It was great, until we all got soaked, good thing Lillian had just got her rain boot stuck in the sand and Jeff was holding her or she may have ended up out to sea. Didn't get any photos of our mishap with the tide, although we probably looked like a bunch of fools, we did get a few other fun shots...

Sunday 2/15 - Rainy days and chilly weather forced us inside on Sunday...to build a fort. Lillian allowed us to come inside because it was very comfortable.

Hoping to have some more of these fun weekends together...
And a belly shot...about 17 weeks, 3 days, not that anyone is counting

I SUCK

so yeah, I am a terrible blogger...my life is hectic...new textbook at work, prego, 3 year old testing out her brat stage, husband under mucho stress at work, all in all good times!

We celebrated Lillian's birthday and had a blast. On her actually birthday, we went as a family to Disneyland. It was so much fun, she loved it. Dumbo first, the carousel, Casey's Train...oops then Alice in Wonderland, where we let her sit in front alone...in the dark, off with their heads, she was scared, but we convinced her at the end that they said Happy Birthday to her with a big cake...the day was great, and she really enjoyed it all. We finished the day with a train ride all the way around...she loved the dinosaurs, since they are "studying" dinosaurs at preschool right now. They are one of Jeff's favorites, too, so they had a dinosaur moment...It was great, I can't wait to visit California Adventure!

To really add to her complete Brat persona, we threw her a birthday bash at home, too. With a huge bounce house, friends, family, food and fun. It was great...and we survived with no tears...she was in the jumpy from about 10am until 4pm with very few breaks...and daddy had the great idea to get helium balloons and put them inside the jumpy, very cool indeed!

I will post pictures some day...maybe, no promises, but that was our January highlight...xo -ag
