Hooray for...

baby Rowan Helena McFadden, Mikayla and Brian's yellow baby is a pinkie! Mikayla had pro skill and delivered without meds, and according to certain witnesses, did not show up to the hospital until she was 9 and 1/2 centimeters dilated...which was around 2am-ish and her doula didn't show up until 1:30am-ish...Mikayla is a warrior! I can't wait to meet their little miss...

and Del Mar fair fun! We had family day at the fair, we got there right at 10am and like true fair goers, and the consumers that we are, the first thing we did is walk the tents full of fair wear...and we made our purchases...a corn dog (Jeff tried to sneak it, but I totally caught him), some stuffed pillow pets (yes, we already have one, but money burns a hole in Jeff's pocket and he loves his Lilly), beef jerky, and we bought Lillian a very nice (and expensive) silk comforter. Jeff and I have one, we've had it for years and it's amazing. I tried to buy Lillian a regular comforter...but that didn't work out right. The silk comforter is so thin but always exactly the right amount of warmth regardless of the season. Ok, it's not a infomerical...although I could write a whole documentary on our bee experience...maybe coming soon...anyway, here are some photos from the fair today...fun fun...
