At the encouragement of my sister Greta, I am posting some pictures of my new kitchen...it really isn't done yet, we still have countertops, backsplash, and new door on our to do list...but here are some photos to hold you over until the project is completed...hopefully within the next 2 weeks...xo -ag

The cabinets and appliances look great!! So funny, when I saw the pictures, I thought, "I guess they changed their mind about the countertops...I am not sure I like the wood motif...." I am lame enough to have not realized it wasn't a finished countertop:)
I think we have the same stove/oven/microwave and refrigerator.

I am a renter and I love plywood countertops. It’s a cheap and practical solution to those who can’t invest on extravagant stones like marble for kitchen countertops. The trick is using furniture-grade veneer plywood trimmed with solid hardwood and carefully sealing it with varnish.
